Phone and cable lobbyists have flooded the FCC with recycled fictions about Net Neutrality. Show the FCC that you don't buy these bogus claims — and they shouldn't either.

Freedom from Addiction to Urgency

It's amazing how many people think everything is urgent and expect everyone to adhere to their unrealistic time-line.
In my opinion, anyone who does this would have to be incredibly self-centered and thoughtless to expect other people to jump through hoops 24/7 in response to their expectations.
I have a tendency to feel bad if I can't please everyone. But the reality is that it's not possible to please everyone in such a self-centered world.
"This Has to Stop None of us are performing surgery (unless you are). You’re not calling me for the antidote to a poison. We MUST police ourselves about our sense of urgency. What happens, and I can be guilty, is that when WE need something, we push for it, not really taking into consideration the other side of the equation. So instead of just ticking something off our list, we come off as insistent and insensitive to other people’s situations."

After reading this and other articles about Google's stance to China's censorship, I have a new appreciation for our freedom of expression in the U.S.
Google rekindled a sense of patriotic pride in me and made me proud of this company and their objectives. I hope more companies will follow their example.

Self Expression in Blogging

My idea behind this blog isn't to talk about anything and everything about self expression or freedom of speech. The focus here will be more tuned to freedom in blogging or having an online presence without restrictions.
The motivation behind this came out of a censorship by a Direct Sales company that severely restricted and in some cases banned it's Independent Reps from freely participating in social media and blogging. I'd say it's more of a journey into freedom in self expression in writing or blogging. More along the lines of freedom of the press
